Cirque Arcana Tour Schedule & Map
Lead Year
Their Lead Year schedule is the original schedule that they started with in 1932 and currently runs on even years.
Naturally, the specific venues/grounds they set up camp at in each city has evolved over the years depending on the area’s evolution over time.
Using Chicago for example (hint): when Cirque Arcana was first touring, they were stationed a skosh more inland, loosely at Grant Park since it was used for large events during those years. Their modern-day setup is based on the location of Northerly Island, which was the site of the World’s Fair during the 30s and then the Meigs Airport until the early 2000s.

Leap Year
The Leap Year schedule is a newer (circa 1980s) alternative to the usual tour stops and currently runs on odd years.
This schedule is more of a recreational one for the circus, being a combination of less tour stops, more buffer time to enjoy the areas being visited, and a selection of more unique spots to stop. Whereas the Lead Year was planned purely on business operations.
There are more stops in the South and in the Central states, plus an extended stay in Maine. Which, respectively, provides time in New Orleans and along the Gulf, shows for less frequented markets, and time for the troupe to roam the Northeast and into Canada.
So, here’s their Leap Year tour schedule:

To run away with the circus or to be killed by it? Typically, the latter doesn’t follow up the former. But, it does regarding Cirque Arcana. But that circus couldn’t be a real concern. After all, Cirque Arcana was nothing more than a rogue dream…
